When she gained international recognition her acting career began. She began her career as an actor in 1995 when she appeared on the TV series Baywatch Nights. She also does voice-acting and was the voice actor in an animated adaptation of the Batman Beyond Return of the Joker film. Harmon left television in the early part of 2000 to concentrate on film.
